It all started when the international tennis chair umpire and referee Patrik Grahn started to import tennis clay to Finland in the 80's. In the beginning he imported clay for his personal use only, but soon other people asked him to sell it to them as well. Over the years he got more and more clients. After he passed away in 2008 his sons Rikhard and Henri Grahn took over the business. The name of the company is now called GR Sports and most of the clay courts in Finland are using our clay.

Nowdays GR Sports sells clay for around 300 clay courts for yearly maintenance. This amount is far the largest amount of clay courts in Finland. Beside this GR Sports has a wide selection of quality tennis court equipments such as tennis nets & posts, lines and all kinds of different tools for clay court maintenance. GR Sports imports clay from the German company Tegra GmbH. Our top product is topfit clay, our selection also includes Ziegelrot clay and the CANADATENN surfacing. The courser version of topfit clay is also suitable for traditional athletics tracks.

Over the past years GR Sports has had an important role selling clay for making brand new tenniscourts such as in Joensuu, Hanko and Jyväskylä. One helpful service that GR Sports provides is renting for example tennis court rollers for clubs and private persons.

Our clients consist of traditional tennis clubs and private persons but also towns, municipals and big listed companies. Our goal is to serve with great expertise everyone, dispite the size of the order and orderer. We are also flexible and delivery is usually very fast - just few days. This is possible due to our big stock in southern Finland. And propably the most important thing: our products are high quality and our clients are satisfied from year to year.
